Alex, a custodian of ancient knowledge, has been deeply immersed in the sacred fire of Itzachilatlan tradition for over 20 years. As a respected member of the council, he carries the wisdom and teachings passed down through generations. With a profound connection to ancestral art and its impact on the human psyche and spirit, Alex is an artist who weaves the essence of ancient traditions into his work. He has lived among indigenous tribes such as the Cofan, Cogis, Aymara, and has learned valuable insights from North American Indian traditions. Alex's reverence for sacred plants is evident in the blessings he invokes at ancestral altars and the ceremonies he guides, where he empowers others to find joy and harmony by following the guidance of their hearts.

Laura, Alex's wife and partner in this sacred journey, pursued studies in Psychology and Fine Art at the University of Virginia.  From an early age, her fascination with Plant Medicine ignited, shaping her perspective and leading her on a profound journey through diverse indigenous cultures. Along her spiritual path, Laura has embraced practices such as Yoga, Meditation, and soulful singing, which have deepened her connection with Spirit. Complementing her spiritual journey, she obtained certification as a Yoga Instructor, allowing her to integrate her love for movement and mindfulness into her teachings. Together, Alex and Laura bring a harmonious blend of ancient traditions, indigenous wisdom, psychological insights, and spiritual practices to empower others on their own transformative paths.
